  • Yellow polo shirt – school logo or plain
  • Grey Robert Miles jumper/cardigan with school logo
  • Indoor Shoes: Flat plain black shoes/trainers without branding – these should be shoes that enable your child to move around the school safely and outdoors in the event of an evacuation. Plimsolls/Slippers/Sliders/Crocs should not be worn.
  • Outdoor Shoes: An additional pair of informal shoes (trainers are fine) to wear outside at breaktimes/PE
  • Socks should be white, grey or black.
  • Black or grey tights
  • Water bottle (named and only containing water)

PE Kit

  • Yellow t-shirt (school logo or plain – branded football tops must not be worn)
  • Black shorts (cycling shorts or leggings are fine for PE only)
  • Plimsolls/suitable trainers
  • Black or grey hoody and/or tracksuit bottoms should be kept in the PE bag and must be worn in colder weather

Your child’s P.E. kit can be left at school during the week (although we do encourage children to take them home at half term for a wash!). Long hair should be tied back during PE.

School Uniform can be ordered from this website.

Swimming

  • One piece swimsuit or close-fitting shorts/trunks
  • Towel
  • Bag for wet clothes
  • Parents must provide written consent for their child to wear swimming goggles.

Jewellery

We do not allow children to wear jewellery when in school. The exceptions to this rule are watches and studs for children who have pierced ears. Watches must be removed during all PE activities as they may be damaged, catch on something and cause an accident or scratch/cut another child. Ear studs must be removed for PE activities (including swimming) as they can be knocked, causing injury to the child wearing them – on these days, please ensure they are removed and kept at home. If you wish your child to have their ears pierced, please plan this for the beginning of the summer holiday in order to allow sufficient time for ears to heal before the start of term in September.

Children should never wear dangling earrings or necklaces in school as these can very easily catch on something or be torn out of the ear causing injury.

Second Hand Uniform

We have a selection of second hand uniform available which is good quality and very reasonably priced (maximum £2). We will be hosting frequent second-hand uniform sales throughout the year.

Please ensure all uniform, including shoes and trainers, is clearly marked with your child’s name so that if any item is misplaced it can be returned to you. Any unnamed items are kept in lost property and will be available to purchase at the next second-hand uniform sale.
